Essays and CPAP’s
Isn’t it funny how you always lose your motivation on that last paper? Yeah, that’s where I am. I’m struggling with the last one of this year. Twenty pages that would have been due Friday. Of which I have not yet written any. Oh well.
I was able to take the week off from work. That was nice. (Not from a financial perspective of course) It sucks that I happened to get sick this week. Oh, well. I’m nearly well now, just have this awful cough and weakness in the body left to knock out. So right now I’m reluctant to pull the all-nighters that I’m going to have to pull to get this thing together. I’m going to have no choice soon though.
I went to get fitted for the CPAP machine on Tuesday. The little thing that I’m going to have to sleep with for the rest of my life. It makes you feel like Darth Vader. Complete with the respirator effect. It works by pushing air down your throat while you sleep to keep the passages open that would close and cut off your air, interrupting your sleep. I’m almost there with that too. I’ll probably spend a week or two dancing with the insurance company to see what they will pay or what form they need filled and how they want it done… you know the drill.
Anyway. A little progress beats none at all. Those are my words of wisdom for the week.
