Flickr and fotos…
I’ve realized that I am a geeky-kinda guy. To be honest, this is not a new revelation. I was told this by a friend over 6 years ago. Reading stuff on html for fun is not a general occupation by any means. So to this end I have been experimenting with a way to get photos off of my cameraphone and into useful places, like Flickr for example. I set up a little routine that when I send a photo to the computer, the photo is automagically imported into iphoto ready to edit / upload etc. So far so good. Seems to make the process a bit easier.

I’ve been complaining about this cameraphone for a while now, and this is my attempt to try one more time with it. Turns out that the photos look good on the computer, but look really bad onthe camera. A one inch screen doesn’t do anything justice it turns out.
I also installed Lightbox onto the site. This makes any pictures I put on the site turn into wonderful animations in a screen overlay when they are clicked. It is a usability thing as well as looking damn cool. It saves the user the jarring experience of shifting away from the site when an image is clicked. No more back button.
See I’m doing this for you. Of course, whether this works with flickr or not is another story… hmmm…
Maybe I should get back to reading for class…

haha while you may be geeky, I find myself drawn to numbers and budgeting and planning out different ways to pay back my loan with different variables to see the different changes in interest. Seriously, I have created spreadsheets that divide up percentages and interest and amounts…
Oh, I can even top your reading HTML – I find myself reading financial articles and books “just because”.
And here I thought I hated math all along
Wait .. I guess that makes me a geek too!
