Well, Well, Well. I got some new stuff. As in a new computer. No more messing with the old slow poke. This one burns rubber! Now if it could only print… HP says they have made drivers for the new OS (leopard) but there are reports on the web that what I got ain’t working with what they got. Oh, well. I may still have to fire up the old machine to print. Not the greatest proposition. It puts a damper on the whole new computer smell thing.

Most other things worked seamlessly. Oh. yeah. And the version of photoshop that I run, ran more accurately, refuses to load. It was old, from 10.2 days, so I kind of expected that… I think that there are some free alternatives out there which should serve me well.

If all goes well, the landlord saga will end tonight. I have been told to take a form (hence the need to print) to them after 6 and in about 20 minutes I should have my money and my post-dated checks. If not, I better put a stop on that December check.

I was briefly ranked number one on google. If you did a search for “mental slavery” my site, would come up first. However after a month of inactivity, I’ve moved all the way down to number two. A few more posts and some keyword editing might get me back up to the top spot. I was aiming to write there twice a month, but if I don’t hurry that modest goal will not be met this month… Crazy how the time flies.
