Spent some time at High Park to see a wonderfully silly production of “Midsummer Night’s Dream”. Hard to argue when the bard’s lines are interpreted in Jamaican dialect and Hip hop. Hmmm. Oberon as the Obeah man. Maybe that’s what Shakespeare had in mind all along… Puck was performed really well. As a miniature acrobatic fairy. Bottom the ass apparently looks like me… or so I’ve heard.
