Mission Accomplished. I found a place. A wonderful place. Something that will keep me sane in the upcoming semester and winter. A room with a view. No compromise. Everything that I wanted. Does anyone want me to post pictures?

I’m warming to the idea of living in Ottawa. It’s not so bad really. Compact, unlike the sprawling nature of Toronto. Which is a good thing. Coming back here to TO I really see how big this place is. You could live here all your life and not really see this thing. Ottawa, on the other hand, is knowable. You can see everything, and know everything in a short period of time. I can already give a tour. One thing that that city has a lot of is tattoo parlors. How many people do they really have there to get all those tattoos? Aren’t they running out of skin?

I saw my girlfriend today for the first time since Monday. I remember now why I don’t like long distance relationships. The separation is not fun. Phone calls and text messages are just no substitute for presence. And I did miss her presence…

In other news, I got news today that I got approved for a Lyford Cay scholarship! Isn’t that great!

I’m listening now to Nelly Furtado’s haunting “All good things (come to an end)” and reminding myself to enjoy these moments of bliss.

I am such a lucky guy.
I should never complain.
