Whoa.
I have a mid-term tomorrow, and of the 8 chapters that I was to have read – I have read a grand total of 3. It’s only worth 30% of the total grade though. That was sarcasm in case you were wondering. So, of course, instead of actually studying, I’m going to blog instead.
The weather has gotten a nice little bit warmer. It’s over zero for the first time in weeks. Went to bed with -20 and woke up to +5. Not bad. Of course when I say went to bed, that was all pretty much metaphorical, cause for some reason I’ve stopped sleeping again. I’m only able to get about 3 hours at a time, and even that sleep is very disturbed.
Had a nice surprise visit by Emma and Ashley. Ever so nice of them to stop by. Not every day I get surprise visitors. Ashley wanted me to hear Timberlake’s SEXYBACK and she put it on loud. Not head crushingly loud, because I just don’t have that capability. But loud. Now I can’t tell if my neighbor from next door banged on the wall to say it was too loud for him, or if the neighbor from above me dropped something.
I’m a pretty quiet neighbor and I figure that every once in a while you should be able to play something if its not late (it was 9pm). I bet it was the guy next door, the only time I have seen him was when I played jazz at around 5pm and he came over to say that he could hear the bass. That was my first week here. It’s not like I don’t hear his stuff either, but if it’s not 2 in the morning, I don’t bother. And why should I?
You know, I should have turned it louder to be sure where the knocking came from.
Actually, when I heard the knock on the door that turned out to be Ashley and Emma, because I was playing some soft music at the time, I thought it was him. I was hoping anyway.
Would love to have another chat with the guy.

you *may* have been hoping it was him, but I’m sure you enjoyed our company more than his

I thought that went without saying.
