Going over the 20 academic readings for our History class. Waiting for the pizza to be delivered. I’m starving. And tired.
Saw Pan’s Labyrinth last night. AWESOME movie. One of the best I’ve seen in my life. Brutally violent but amazingly beautiful. A must see! Anyway now I’m going to concentrate some more on this studying thing…

Ya know it’s often difficult to find balance when in school. When do you just say enough is enough and instead of studying or reading, you just get dressed and go out, watch a movie, or just drive around town to realize that life still goes on. I even feel like my body is sending me a message to ‘do what I gatta do’ to get by because I am always ill these days, the flu, soar throat, or just plain tired!
But you struggle with wanting the 4.0 right? Well, I’m already looking forward to Easter break (we just had midterm) and like you I want my doctorate degree too, so go figure. Can you imagine my energy level then?
I’m thinking about switching up for my master’s, getting off this island and enjoy a different setting and different characters. Don’t want to do the U.S. so I’m unsure and then I am doing so many things here, is it worth putting on hold? I’m not really asking you to answer my questions, I’m just spewing volcano ash!!!! Lot’s of decisions Ward, but I need to be able to be alive to make them. So tonight instead of finishing my essay, reading articles, and transcribing an interview, I will watch me some Law and Order and get a good night’s rest. So there!

I agree with you Tossie. School really is a pain in the ass. I’m having the proverbial second thoughts myself as I await graduate school. (If I even make it in… but that’s another story). Hope the Law and Order was good.
