Spin Cycle
Ok. That was a while. By the time I get to my year in review, its going to be 2008! Insanity. I have another few tasks to go before I can breathe out and just really exhale. Just let all of that old oxygen starved stuff out into the cold where it belongs. 2006 just does not want me to be free.
Ok. So lets see. The two essays are done. The ninety minute presentation. Check! (That went three hours by the way – another long story) The first two grad applications? Done. (If only Bahamian mail would hurry up) The design project that was due in December? Finally finished an hour ago!!
Now. I must apply for graduation, put in another 2 grad apps and send a scholarship form off to Nassau by the 31st. The stuff in February and March is too far for me to care about. Closer to home, this weekend is looking nice and clear – and I will probably sleep most of it off. I have like three novels to get through for class next week and I found a nice container of hot chocolate mix that I forgot that I had. Mix that with coming up with reasons why rich people should be giving me money (the scholarship) I think I have the makings of a restful time ahead. –
Would you look at all the comments! By George! I really think that that’s a new record on the blog. Maybe I should go on hiatus more often. Was I missed?

the grad app is basically a 2 min session – you sign in, check the info and click “submit”
tada! http://www.yorku.ca/mygraduation/
And the scary part is that February begins next week. Time flies, even if you aren’t having fun!

Wow! I feel really good about the tasks in my life now! Whenever I feel overwhelmed just think of Ward..and I’ll feel much better!
I hope the hot chocolate mix isn’t the only thing in the cupboard.
Ward…all work and no play makes someone a dull person.
Look who’s talking.
Forget the damn year in review!!!!!!!!
Do the decade in review one time!

Thanks for that Emma, but I had a slight problem with mine. Some study abroad credits that were messing with me, and a language test for my LACS major that I need to sit etc. Small stuff for sure, but a tad more than a 2 minute session.
Tossie, the Decade in review sounds fabulous. Should I start in 2010?
And who said I’m not playing?

oh that’s not good (the problems with your tcredits). One of my friends was told she’s inelligible to graduate because they screwed up with her academic advising, and now she needs to do three more credits over the summer.
Make sure you do those soon! It’s due by the end of January.

Ya know that’s what I get for being so presumptious…I deserved that.
Well good to know you are playing!
Enjoy your weekend!

Hi Ward, don’t stop blogging! I’ve been checking back a bunch of times since you’ve had this post up, and I’ve been disappointed everytime!
It’s a good way to keep in touch too, since I kinda hate being at school and try to get home as quickly as possible once I’m done with the necessary there. Maybe I could get to school earlier one of these days, and assuming you’re awake! we could meet for breakfast?

Hey I’m not stopping! I just pressed pause. Or school did or something. And I thought a g33k such as yourself would have an RSS reader.
Breakfast sounds fantastic!

nah, no RSS reader. I like surfing up and down to peoples’ blogs. Having an RSS is just so… lazy!
