On the Postponement of Dreams
I know I promised a year in review. And I also promised a prospectus for the New Year. These things will have to wait. Right now I must don the military cap and go into the trenches. This next week is vitally important. A lot must be done and accomplished. I have an essay a 90 minute presentation and my grad school applications have to get done. Not to mention the readings that have already begun to pile up. And not to mention the fact that I haven’t started the essay or the presentation yet. Oh well.
2007 thus far is still filled with a lot of the shit from 2006. Here’s hoping for a nice enema.

good luck!
at least the presentation isn’t just riding on you. 90 minutes though… :S
(and maybe just do grad apps tomorrow, instead of anything else?)

the grad apps need letters of recommendation that I can’t write – all i can do is remind and that’s been done.

oh that’s crappy. I hope that works out for you.
(I see you’re still up. Can’t sleep?)
January 7th, 2007 at 3:33 am

And so are you apparently…

Looks like this will be a week of all nighters. I have two words for u.

ah yes – late night, early morning (I walked with a friend to Superstore). I don’t even know what I actually did last night between 1 and 4 – I just sat online doing nothing!

Though I am free from the world of academia, I still know how it feels. My phone’s always on.
Everything will be alright, I know it. What kind of boring life will you have, without all this excitement!!?? Hope your Bahamian vacation was good enough for you to catch your breath, ‘coz 2007 will be THE year!

Tossie, Coffee and Chocolate! Sounds like a plan! and don’t apologize about the email.
Emma, is Superstore a 24 hour store now?
Jenn, you are right. I need the excitement.
January 8th, 2007 at 2:15 am
oh, no superstore is 8 am until 10 pm most days. I just happened to go to bed around 4, and then wake up (not so) voluntarily at 8:30. and then lay in bed until I was supposed to get up at 10. My friend and I walked to the superstore around 10:30 or so.

Hey Ward! I haven’t been keeping up with your blog for awhile. Been trying to be good, studying and all that rubbish.
Hope you had a good holiday – and best of luck for the apps! My boy is writing his apps for his Phd too!

Thanks for stopping by… I’ve been following your comps drama. You got a lot of stuff on your plate. I always forget to comment.

Hope the week was successful, reflecting on all of the deadlines, papers and presentations you had to produce.
I’m here struggling with flu symptoms. Just thought I’d give a shout out to you, one of my friends was telling me he was applying for a scholarship to attend York to complete his doctorate degree….and of course my mind ran on you.
I would like to know how things went with the presentation and stuff.

If you get the answering machines, just try calling again. I discovered that they don’t really call back.
Also, it’s from now until Feb 9, Mon – Fri. Their business hours are 9 or 9:30 – 4:30.
Good luck with a good time
