Today was ISAY funday. It was looking like the weather wasn’t going to cooperate with us today. We were dreading this day for weeks now. The long term forecast made it seem unlikely that it was going to be safe to even step outside. Even today accuweather said there was going to be thunderstorms in the afternoon.

Note to self: Forget the weather forecast in the future. We had a great time. About 20 people showed up and we ate, we drank and we played games, football (soccer for ye uninitiated) and frisbee. Then onto Jasmine tea and Dominoes in 113 Vanier. So another successful event under our belts. And no rain.
I experienced a great deal of mind farting today. I couldn’t think coherently to save my life. But thankfully no great damage came of it.

My little edited article was published in this weeks Excalibur. Please check it out before it disappears with a new issue on Wednesday. The unabridged version is now up. You can do the comparisons to see what was left on the cutting room floor and whether it needed to be there or no.

My place is officially a mess. I really have to do something about it now, and I was so busy last week that I didn’t even get a chance to use the free laundry days. That was stupid of me… Oh well. Next time?
