Where did those two weeks go? I haven’t blogged in a while and I don’t know if I want to try to catch up. Basically been spending most of my time in the library trying to either 1) get something going on an essay that I have been working on which will become my writing sample. 2) doing work for ISAY.

Some success has been had, a hell of a lot more frustration, but then again I’m not exactly working at full tilt. But I’m close. I’m still trying to relax a little bit before the school term starts in a week and a half. So there is not much time. For Isay, the international Orientation is this Wednesday coming and I have a 3 minute speech / presentation to give. Not to mention that Neal and I will be running a table / Kiosk for 8 hours that day. I’m still working on the brochures and the website and the posters for the event… Yes. I do have things to do.

However, today was Saturday and I hung out with Yoko and two of her friends who are new to Toronto. Yumi and Kumpi. (is that right?) They have only been here for two or three days and they were looking at the CN tower the Sky Dome (I ain’t callin it Rogers Centre, sorry) and all the glory that is down-town. I joined them around 4 and we hung out till nearly 9. Quite an enjoyable day.

I really must go to Japan one day. I have at least 10 Japanese friends here at York. Oh, and funny thing, I was trying to talk Creole with Thor and his wife the other night, and they asked me if I wanted something to drink and I said “nine” like I was speaking German. It made me laugh anyway. later
