In a crazy, breathtaking game, Deutschland beat Argentina 5:3. It came down to the penalty kicks. Whoa! What a game. Walking home is always fun after Deutschland wins cause people are driving around with flags and screaming, and its real easy to get into the spirit. Some kids stood at a street light with their flags and every passing car honked like crazy. Ah, good times.

The Deutsch class is now officially over. The goodbye party was last night. It was a wonderful group of people. I’ve got to join this facebook thing now to stay in touch with some of them. Singapore probably had the most people in the program. I took some pictures at the party but I’m too lazy to put anything up now. By the way, I did very well in my two courses and won a little prize to boot. There were only five such prizes for the whole program and our Deutsch class had three of the shining stars. Way to go class 2!

Would you believe I went for a jog again? Honestly though, my gut is so big it looks like I’m pregnant. It’s crazy. I go to salsa-aerobics again tomorrow. If the guy can cut me a deal with the price I’ll keep going to the gym, if not, tomorrow will be my last day there, and I’ll have to use other means to feel the burn.
