Tiredness and essays
Its hard for me to imagine that its friday afternoon. When you wake up at 3 in the morning, I guess that happens. Yes, my biological clock has shifted again. For the uninitiated, just imagine living in jet-lag. Don’t know why this is the way it is, but it is. I imagine that my body runs on a 25 or 26 hour schedule, and that any apparent correlation between my waking hours and the suns rising and falling are purely co-incidental. In the next few weeks I’ll be able to pretend that I’m a morning person.
Still having serious problems with the hosting provider. Thankfully they are responsive to email messages. Otherwise I would have had to find alternative arrangements… I still wonder if I should have to email them so many times in a week and whether or not 5 days down time is excusable. Given that I’ve been with them for about three years, I’m going to give them a little bit more rope. Still, the time I spend behind them to get the database running is time I could be doing something else. Like writing essays (or blogging).
Speaking of essays, they are going on a pace. I wonder if I will ever become the type of person who can get them done by their due dates. Seeing that I’m probably going to spend the next three years of my life in some kind of Academic setting, that would be a good thing. But, back in the present, I’m in the absorption stage, where I just sit and read and read information relevant to the topic. This usually takes a day or two, (depending on the topic) and then I can start writing. I’ll keep you posted… as long as the website stays up that is.

I like how you describe your body–running on 26 hr days. Interesting. Mine would be running on a 10 hr day then. Yes, purely coincidental to the sun’s rising and falling, its got nothing to do with my body, nope.
On another note, the Chinese Ensemble I play for is performing again. We’re doing it in the new Accolade East building. Even cooler than last time, we’re playing in an open hall. No doors, no chairs (at least I dont think), people just walk by, come listen, and walk away as they please. So, if you decide to stroll by, come on in and have a listen. Details are at my blog, you know where it is.
Thanks for this little bit of advertising!
