Almost there
Useless information of the day: Did you know that “the Bahamas” is one of the few countries that you have to put the “the” in front of? You can say I’m going to Jamaica, or America, or Canada, but you can’t say I’m going to Bahamas for some reason. It just doesn’t sound right. You have to say I’m going to THE Bahamas.
I thought you would like that.
On with the news. Nothing much has happened since I’ve been home. I still haven’t done my duty and gone to see all of my friends and family yet. They have probably all cut me off… Would you believe that I’m still working on this crazy History “take-home exam”? It’s such a pain in the ass. I might say that I would have preferred to take a sit-down exam, but that might have meant me being stuck in frigid Canada right now. Ok. This way is better. It’s due tomorrow via WebCT and I’m just about done with it. Working on papers takes a lot longer when you have no interest in doing it. I would have loved to have finished it in Canada, but alas, I was not able.
Going to a family wedding on thursday. That’s looking like its going to be something else. Maybe I’ll get my hair rebraided for that? Hmm… Who knows? Anyway I’m off to read some of the Russian Literature books that I brought along with me. – sigh-
