The only blog for June
Hello fearless folks!
How are you? I just came out of a very deeep hole. Summer semester is sooo intense its scary. I’ve spent the last 3 or has it been 4 weeks just finishing up essays. Either I need to get faster at these things or I need a break. My Uncle did warn me about this, but I did want to take 12 credits… Funny thing is that I’ll probably be doing the same thing next year… maybe not 12 though. Perhaps a directed reading and a nice 40 page research paper. Sounds yummy.
I haven’t slept that much recently, probably about 6 hours or so in the last 48. So you can imagine that I am going to crash very soon.
I feel amazingly relieved that I have finished that last paper… it’s a lot smoother from here on in. It’s like I finally took a crap after being constipated for like 50 years… that kind of relief…
I need to do some stuff with this site. Its really starting to bother me. I need to ditch Movable type. I love the software. Honest, but I can’t pay money for it. I’m a student for christ sake. I don’t have an iPod and i’m supposed to pay to blog? Not likely. And I am sick of the spammers. I spend most of my maintenance time cleaning up their sh*t. And they leave a lot of it around here… Maybe I should just leave a movable type page up as like digital fly paper to catch all of the penis enlargement, texas hold-em, cialis bullsh*t that spammers think that everyone is interested in… thats an idea.
I’m more than likely going to move to wordpress. It looks like good software and its open source. I like open source. I ain’t much of a programmer but I need something that will keep out the rats, and that looks like it. I’ve been talking about more content for a while, and I guess I’ll get to that eventually. No promises… who knows what will come up.
