Out and About
Hello all,
Once again blogging in strange and diverse places, the wonders of modern technology to bring you a wonderous feat that is only relevant in its own warped little world. I think I am developing some type of allergy to something in the atmosphere in Canada. My throat is a bit hoarse and my sinuses are irritating me, however I will try to go and see a movie tonight, haven’t been to see a flick in such a long time.
Now for a word on Capitalism…
It was only as recently as last week that I actually understood what it was. Of course I lived in what is to an extent a capitalist economy. I knew that it was immoral and that I didn’t like it, but if you asked me to explain it to anyone I really couldn’t. Now I think I can, thanks to a wonderful book by Michael Parenti and a host of internet websites…
Capitalism in a nutshell refers to the process of the exploitation of labour for the benefit of the capitalists (those with the means of production such as factories, property, etc) to create surplus profit for themselves which they then reinvest to create more surplus. And thus the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.
One of capitalisms fundamental paradoxes is how to keep wages as low as possible while giving the worker just enough money to consume the enough products to keep the game going. Anyway they are closing this joint down… will blog more later.

hey mr. minnes,
i see youve put some more entries in your blog, and that youve been having some thought about blogging! blogging is quite new to me too, but i refer to it as the convenient *thingy* in which i use to disperse information, so i dont have to keep repeating myself to friends. so if friends need to know .. for example, about a certain “DATE” that i had, i tell them to go to da blog. yes, go to the jenn blog, before i hit you over the head ‘coz there’s just too much to type!
as for the throat, i think we have that every year! your necessities for this winter are:
-lozenges
-hand lotion (strong ones, i’ll show you which ones, and i wont tell you to get the girly ones! oh, we have to go shopping one day!)
-lip balm (strong ones too, for those smuckers)
and just water is very very important. our winters get REALLY REALLY dry ‘coz we’re inland, as opposed to island countries, or even cities that are on the coast (ex. vancouver).
so, umm.. dyou think mr. cornish might actually find my blog and read whatever’s there?? oh dear, .. that thought kinda scares me. i dunno what to do now.
we’ve got plans for this coming monday!
and it was fun today, with the whole convocation thingy! the whole ceremony was so grand, with the robes, and the sceptre, and the bagpipes. but i guess you wouldnt know ‘coz you were SLEEPING.
hope you get some sleep though! have fun with k-os.

Thanks for the wise words for winter jenn. I appreciate the advice. I’m going to need it. And thats the crazy thing about the web, once a page is openly accessable (and not hidden) you really have no idea who is checking your pages out. My take is only put out there what you don’t mind coming back to you… just like in life I guess… c u round.
