New Day!
Hello people!
New Day. New Day. Its a rainy, cloudy and overcast day, but hey, I’m living. Just spent the entire night doing a paper! Finished it around 8 this morning. New Day! I have no idea what I’ll get. I really have to stop working like this. How is it that I let two weeks boil down into one night?
Oh, btw… this is where I live in York, a nice building known as Assiniboine. Pronounce that three times fast! And this picture was NOT taken today. From a sunnier time.

New Day! But yes much more to tell you…
Imagine, you study Karl Marx for one week, two lectures and not once use the word “Capitalism”? I still don’t believe it. To bad I was a little mashed up in lecture. Dozed here and there, but caught the majority of what was going on.
Been thinking about the point of Blogging. Yes and that was before my Lit proffessor started posting comments on entries that referenced her
An interesting aside to be sure: I am fully aware that this is the internet, which means, whatever I post here is pretty much public property. Oh, yes I get copyright and all that nonsense, but respecting that right is the sole discretion of the viewer. Its literally finders keepers! But although I gave my proffessor my URL, I somehow forgot that she is also an active participant in my life with life and death power to weild as she sees fit. Note: Classrooms are not democracies.
So, I blithely rattle on about my first grade from York U, ignoring the reality that anyone can read what I write. Well, not ignoring the reality, but honestly, sometimes I wonder if anybody reads this. (I know you do Jenn
And the answer is yes! Someone does read this. I am read! So it is to me as much a thrill as it is a scare that my professor not only read the entry that obliquely referenced her class, but that she also left a tongue-in-cheek notice of her having been here. Hmmmm…. what does it mean?

But yes. It is a new day. What is blogging? What level of thoughts do I place here. If you go back in the archives, you will see that this is not the first time that this question has crossed my mind. Some times I think about it from a Web designers perspective. A blog is content. Simple enough. It’s constantly updated, so it can generate traffic. Its novel enough that its still kind of cool. And I guess maybe it’s kind of racy. Remember your sister’s diary, the one with the lock? The one you read… Come on admit it.
Is a blog a diary? What is the historical precedent for real-time diary reading? And people inviting you to experience their world with them? Weird I tell ya. If you have any ideas please pass em on…
Oh and I am continuing my site-wide improvements. I hope to have some poems and a short story up sometime this week. Over at the other site I’ve done some heavy lifting. Some of it isn’t even noticeable now. If you check back in the archives, you will see some mention of syncing… that was because I had two, count em, two blogs. I was doing one for the show, and I had my more personal one. In one of the earlier incarnations of that site, I had designed it where clicking on my blog would send them to Wardmin.com. The problem was that the user felt that they were leaving one website and going somewhere else. Now it finally does it with sense, but this time unless you, the user looks in the URL you will hopefully not realize what happened. It’s like blogging in two places at the same time! What could be better?
I want to also get this homepage up to snuff, and a links engine, and a couple of other tidbits, widgets and gadgets that have been in my mind for so long.
Maybe Blogging is a creative act. I feel refreshed somehow…
