The End is Near
Well haven’t I been the busy bee. Going hither and thither in the world like satan in the days of Job. Been in trinidad for yet another conference. The commemoration and reinterpretation of Haiti’s Bicentennial of Independence. A wonderful few days in Trinidad to be sure. Met and rubbed shoulders with the great ones, among them, Derek Walcott as seen in the picture below. Despite his enormous stature on the world literary stage he remains a virtual unknown to my fellow Bahamians. “Dera who?” here he is…
As a note I hope to get the website done and completed in the next couple of days and get the exhibit space up and running. After that, This site will become basically calcified, in other words it will be finished. I.E. don’t look for new content. (Maybe my mind will change) But for sure, after this project my attentions will slowly shift towards my own website and a couple of other miscellaneous projects that I have running before I find myself in Canada as a freshman!! Whoo hoo.
Would you believe that I have never seen snow?
