Hola, yes it is me the webmaster ward meister, with another text based blog. For those of you who figured that out that means no pictures. That would be everyone right?
I’m a little depressed right now. I get this from time to time. I think its just that I haven’t been able to paint in a while. I feel a little lost. Got some other stuff brewing in my head too that surely ain’t helping. (don’t ask) One more week of school, so I surely won’t be able to paint this weekend. And you wonder why I’m blue?

Marlon Hunt’s art show is on the friday, if you go, I’ll probably be there and if you see me we can chat chicken. The New Providence Community Church is also having some art extravaganza this weekend. The One Love festival. “Lets get together and feel irie”. I probably won’t go to that. Should I see a movie?

When is “Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind” going into wide release, i.e when it ga be at galleria? The guy who sells bootleg DVD’s outside of Burger King has it though… should I? And they just had that nice chat on copyright at the National Art Gallery too hey Thats the Bahamas for you, I can’t copy out of a book at COB for what is obviously personal use there, but I can get a bootleg DVD at Bamboo Shack. What is up with that? “One Tie snack an one a dem Dee Wee Deez buhy!”

What do you think about the copyright laws here in the Bahamas? Do they make sense? Are they killing artists? If I have an audience, (I’m not sure who reads this) leave me a comment will ya. What other Bahamian website is updated as often as this one? Show some love… Maybe that will help me to get out of my 48 hour funk.
